Just listened to our leaders debating on renewables, but nothing on how we would power our military. Nuclear? Solar? Battery? Wind? Wave? Chicken sh!t? . Haven't seen any of these powering tanks and jets in Ukraine. Do they live on another planet?
Fast forward a few years and we're fighting in Europe, no wind, no nuclear, no sun, batteries run down. Our enemy has all the fossil fuel it needs. Sorry mate the charging point is out of action, there's just been a lot of trees brought down by wind. Look at those tanks rolling past, lucky buggers!

Does the situation in Ukraine not warrant activation of COBRA?
Are our defences ready or have we still got our heads in the sand?
Are our councils more concerned with checking our bins are segregated properly than giving advice on radioactivity precautions?.
Should we have radios available for hearing government instructions?
Should we just stick our heads between our legs and kiss our asses goodbye?
Should I start going to church?
Help! I don't know what to do!

A man has pleaded guilty at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in Newtownards, Co. Down.

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbot’s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined £150 each and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gill’s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.

Discussion with Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) officers confirmed the site...
