How to remove transfers/decals

Any suggestions on how to remove letters and numbers on a machine like my wheeled digger? If it was a McConnell they’d fall off if you sneeze near them, but when you want to take them off these stick like to a blanket!

Steam cleaner or peel them up by hand and use a heat gun to warm the glue as you peel them off

+1 for heat gun but I bet with faded paint you'll still be able to read it !

Firstly steam cleaner with a foam to Remove any grime then 18v heat gun and a good resin polish afterwards

Angle grinder would do just as good a job

Are they stickers? If so, they are really good ones. As said, when removed the paint beneath will be a far more red red.The only way to sort that issue is to respray the whole loader in my opinion.

Farecla G3 cutting compound and a proper electric polisher should take the top layer of pink back to red with a bit of effort.
Don’t use a cheap polisher, they don’t have enough grunt, and Farecla being a far better commercial cutting compound compared to ‘T-Cut’, which doesn’t really seem do anything anymore.

Now Then..
As mentioned, a warm day is best, or a heat gun. I use a sharp gasket scraper to lift a corner, the rest usually follows. The remaining adhesive can be removed with an Autoglym product.....
