Would I be correct in saying Dowdeswell bought Howard out then more recently Dowdeswell were bought out by Standen.

I have sourced parts for my Dowdeswell rotorvator from Standen. I think the parts books are online.

Agreed. That would definitely be the first place we'd try for Howard rotavator parts (or indeed any older make of machinery). Although you'd want to check that he or Stuart will be there as it's a fair drive from Diss.
Oh, and if you've never dealt with Les before I wouldn't try to haggle on price!
