Hp requirements for Mchale f550 baler

Does anyone know what is the minimum pto hp required to work a mchale f550 baler comfortably?

All depends on situation really when chopping need more power and when baling straw on steep ground it drags my 160hp deutz back (although in economy pto) 100hp tractor will do the job but you might be crawling along in certain conditions

ran my 5500 on a mf399 up on hilly land it could manage but i could see it was going to kill the 399 so gave the 399 to the wife. for wrapping. and got a jd 6800 this plays with it.

Is your 6800 a 2 or 3 speed pto? And has it enough power for the baler?
