Anyone had one yet.

Be good to get a heads up on how vigorous they are, as if they find anything wrong they'll be charging as they do for all inspections.

I don't know. We had to register a couple years ago as professional users. These inspections are apparently starting soon, sound very similar to red tractor requirements on the whole but any issue arising will result in a bill to pay.

All you'll need to know will be on there,

That is like the answers to the test, you just need to make sure you work out all the questions 🙈.

If your doing all the things listed in their publication and an incident happened, then they'd look at it as though you were doing all you can. If you weren't doing it all then say hello to the judge when they drag you through the court. It's quite good really that they have kindly publicised everything that needs to be done it's just a mammoth task to cover everything they publish regarding all the different tasks and operations in every day life running your business.
If only agricultural produce was worth decent money to cover for all regulations and eventualities 😕.

if you done everything according to The Codes Of Practice and followed some of it you’d get strung up by HSE. That document is woefully out of date having last been updated in 2006 so there are lots of now banned substances and practices mentioned in it.
It was one of my biggest gripes when I used to carry out Pa1 training as that’s supposed to be the guide for new operators in the industry!

They mentioned this on the Norso course this week, chemical store records incase of a fire etc, up to date eye wash, first aid, correct (fitting) PPE, chem store bunds, spill kit's, and a load of stuff I've forgotten already, (but have written it down) the chaps giving the course suggested the better the basics that they first see, the less they will dig, not with my luck!
