Chicken farmer on the local news this week from Alford was fed up with how many migrating birds have been invited inland ,just ware all the chicken and duck farms are .
Why had so many wetland areas been created miles inland when the majority of the birds are waders that live on coastal estuaries or salt marsh land
actually very good point, law of unintended consequences.

Baba Vanga predicts that a Siberian virus will emerge from melting tundra and kill millions.

Perhaps this is a foretaste?

Also hostile alien invasions
Mass Famine
Shortage of drinking water
Locust invasion

could be true …..
So you're saying I should just cash in my pension now?

Was not one of the big drivers of the move to house chickens and pigs in the 60’s disease prevention? Seem to remember outbreaks every year of various diseases in commercial flocks leading to widespread slaughterings.
This all stopped as the egg and broiler industry moved inside, the pigs likewise.
Then some bright spark said let these poor animals/birds free and this is the result

But by having a lot of birds inside we got Newcastle disease, Mareks disease, Infectious bronchitis, Gumboro Disease among others.
