Sealey do some good rails and their new plier racks are good. Plenty of ideas on ebay if you have a look.

Plier racks are good but had to silicone them in place.

Or cut the original box of socket set to fit in.

Those spanner rails and socket pegs look way better than shadow foam. Can’t see the point in getting a decent cabinet and not being able to get much in it.

I was quite intrigued by the Shadowfoam - and watched a few of the videos last night. I have the spanner rails and plier racks already, too.

To my mind I want as much as possible in the workshop cabinets - and that is where the rails and racks score (-sorta one step up from everything being loose).

But I like the idea of using Shadowfoam in some of my Packout boxes where the tools get trundled about the yard and thrown into the pickup. It should give the cordless tools a bit of protection?

I'm going to try a sheet - might get the pre-shaped foam to get me off to an easier start?

Tool box widget looks a good system
Yes as soon as I’ve installed myself in new workshop, still under constructio, I’ll be getting some. Having just looked at uk site it seems they are out of stock of nearly everything?!

Only 38 days until we leave the farm for good. Later this week I must find time to sort through the workshop and actually decide what I will not be taking with me then list it for sale.

Anyone want me to post a list on here first, first come first served?

where i went on Saturday to pick up my purchase , it was like a DFS sale, all waiting outside for the doors to open , then go and stand by your lot :)

Bought a welding rod oven the other day. Never had one or used on before. Can say it does make a difference well worth the 60 quid. Makes a nicer weld and much easier to strike first arc.

First photo un heated. Second one is heated. Both same rod. 3.2 7018 and same amps.

I made a wooden cabinet years ago with a 15W night light in the bottom. It revolutionised my welding too - no more bird poop.

I had this on my list for years but resisted untill now because boy are they expensive. 40 meter 2.5mm2 €200 ish.
My dad bought one 40 years ago which is still doing the job but only being 1.5mm2 you really need to roll it out when doing a heavy job.
A revelation being now able to throw the cable in sh!t without getting zapped.
Figured if this one lasts 40 years to the price isn't to bad.
"Made in Holland" on it which is something I don't often see.
