I think I have realised why @bobk hates the SNP.
It is oatcakes.
Let me explain here in Scotland an oatcakes is a mighty fine savoury biscuit served with cheese, pate, jam, marmalade honey delicious.
Whereas the oatcake from Bobk county of Staffordshire is simply conjealed pancake which is ordinary and pretty dull.

I like Staffordshire oatcakes, they are one of the few things I miss from the UK. I also enjoy the Scottish oatcakes which are available here, being the consistency of cardboard they are easy to ship.

Have to agree about oatcakes from the potteries. My wife is from Stoke, and she thinks they are great.I think they taste of nothing, and she cant understand it.

She wont accept a vote and will do whatever she can to get independence.. sort of reminds me of something.. ;)

She will get it this time. Nearly all my family, friends etc voted for the Union in 2014. This time I would say they will all vote for independence. Even some I never thought would even consider it in a million years.:scratchhead:

That is ridiculous.
nationalism
[ˈnaʃ(ə)n(ə)lɪz(ə)m]

NOUN

  1. identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.
"their nationalism is tempered by a desire to join the European Union"
    • advocacy of or support for the political independence of a particular nation or people.
      "Scottish nationalism"

I hate the way Nicola Sturgeon often gives a Nazi salute when she is addressing an SNP gathering. Not a straight arm salute, but more of a slightly bent-arm salute akin to what Hitler gave in his more jovial moments.

She is probably the most able politician in the UK at the moment. Listened to her being interviewed twice in the last few days, she answered all the questions succinctly without trying to deviate or flannel. Then we have BoJo's incoherent ramblings or Corbyn's Marxist Utopian dreams to compare. :scratchhead:
