had very sudden milk loss over the past week could ibr be the cause? We vaccinated with live about a month ago, cows noses very snotty but no coughing? Seems to be hitting freshest cows most?

To the OP - if this was a booster vaccine and done in time then I think clinical IBR is unlikely. Usually red, running eyes with IBR and I don't see any ocular signs.

A host of other things can cause these symptoms. I trust you have your vet involved and some samples sent away?

Are they coughing? Do you Huskvac?

Flying herd so I've animals coming on most months,it was a booster,yes vet is involved but he says sending samples away is pointless? We don't huskvac no no coughing,

I'd be doing a PCR for IBR (and other causes) on a flush from the lungs. Can do IBR testing on nasal swabs (deep ones).

I can't see a reason NOT to test and find out?
