Been told not to use an impact wrench on the screw that tilts our teletruk cab.
Decided to try a socket adapter in the end of our m18onepd

We now have a power tilt!
Did take a bit of holding on to tho

Thanks for the replies..
Sounds like a M18 FPD or M18FPD2 would suit my job. I see a M18ONEPD too that looks similar.
Had my old one apart tonight. Completely melted inside, brushes aren't worn out either but the whole casing was all melted together. No fix in it for sure.
To be fair, it was the first Milwaukee tool I bought, before Fuel ones were out, it's done a good lot of hard work here.

Is the not a onefpd?

A major design flaw with the old brushless gear was the cooling. The hot air is blown out the grill on back of body just where you would place your hand to really push hard when drilling steel etc if you weren't using the side handle!

I did mention this to Milwaukee via a comments page once and they must have listened cause all the fuel range suck and blow out the sides of body now so theres no restrictions.

I think that's a gen2? and this is the gen3 all be it not a onekey. https://www.brightontools.co.uk/product/milwaukee-m18fpd2-502x-fuel-percussion-drill

it is all getting a bit confusing I have to admit!:ROFLMAO:

I see advertised in various places the following
M18 FPD
M18FPD2
M18 ONEPD
M18 FPD2 Generation 3
M18 BPD
M18 LDD
M18 BLPD
M18 BLPD2
M18 CBLPD

Their marketing department needs a serious talking to.:banghead::banghead::banghead:
Local builders merchants has some in stock so will see what they have first.
Last time they were near enough the best price I could get for a M18 grease gun.

Looking at deals for a new drill and have seen a couple of kits with an impact driver, with the 1/4" hex drive.
Being a slight Milwaukee addict I'm tempted but not sure if I need it.

I've a good lot of jobs drilling tek screws into wood or often angle iron, are they any good for this sort of work?? Or is the drill just as good?

I brought an impact driver and drill set.

With a set of these:

And some screwdriver inserts, the impact driver gets more work than the drill doing lots of little jobs, dismantling dashboards, seats, battery terminals etc.

I got one, great for tek screws or any screws for that matter! I use mine a lot with a 3/8 socket adaptor on 10mm and 13mm sockets for removing panels and stuff.

They used Todo a kit with drill and a small 1/2" impact, similar sized to the 1/4 you have seen, it gets alot of use about here.
M18 oneiwf12 very capable for all the size of it
