Get a precision engineer to make a stainless steel thimble or two to suit your strongest finger/s and leave off the cap so you can get a feel for where the split pins , works for me and surprising how many jobs you can use them for afterwards it's still a bitch of a job, fit a buzzer to switch and it will last a lifetime !
