So I have an iMac and I have the following issue. If I want to attach a photo to an email or a forum post, when you press attach and then select 'photos' from the list that pops up, the photos folder is then empty and a message says 'open photos to see your photos in this list'. I have tried opening up the 'photos' app so its running in the background but this makes no difference, even though in the actual photos app I can see the pictures.
I have done a repair to the photos app but this has made no difference, as doesn't restarting the computer. Any ideas as its baffling me because it was working fine. The iMac is up to date software wise as well.
