Had tractor, loader and cattle trailer lifted a month ago. Got the trailer back but suspect tractor in Eastern Europe by now. Kept locked up in shed without keys on an outfarm but I suppose they only keep an honest man out. Looking at immobilisers for a potential replacement and my neighbour has below on his excavators, he reckons more secure than a electronic immobiliser. Would prefer a decent immobiliser rather than a tracker.
Anyone any experience with them? Also, is CESAR/Datatag only used in Ireland/GB? Tractor had tags fitted by original owner and dealer reregistered in my name but do dealers in Europe actually check them?
