How long did it take to get him/ her out of the tree? Quite a job to do safely and quickly.
ah, but did he get the relevant permission, to damage a tree, check it wasn't under a tree preservation order, and what steps, did he take, to ensure the hfr was fed and watered, while waiting several days, for said permissions to arrive.

What a mission, well done! My wife watched your videos and said "I know some people like that, you cut them a whole lot of slack and they still wait to be bloody told!"

Our neighbour has one of those grab buckets on his tractor, similar story last year, steer thought it would be fun to poke his head through and caught by the lugs was the result - quicker fix though, remove the head and butcher the beast on-site, which is how we have a fair bit of beef to chew through yet.

If Rob had removed the head on that one and had it for the freezer, just imagine the horror accusations of the 'farmer carrying out pagen rituals' leaving cows heads in trees.
Never mind about the media coverage now, there would have been one hell of a story for future historians 🤣.
@Rob Garrett would have been a mythical legend.

Thankfully though a good outcome 👍

Day one of Biofarm 2020 over, 4 more to go! I missed most of it working & parenting. Saw Greg Judys presentation though, got to love his style, keeps it simple and very effective.

He made an interesting point that there's lower lignin in grass underneath trees, than grass in full sun.
But less sugar in the shaded grass so it gets left and shat on as they lie there. iirc.
