Farmers, Police, no matter what profession they are made up of individuals of all types of character, I'm not at all surprised you've met unpleasant farmers, I'm not at all surprised others have met bolshy coppers.I have gone through life without being on the wrong side of the law. The dealings I have had with the police all revolve around being a victim of crime. I can say that the policeman who dealt with me was first class and really helpful, he had served 20 years with the RAF.In my working world I have had plenty of run-ins with arogant farmers full of cocky attitude. Whether it be when unloading/loading at marts, farm sales or when I am owed money. But on the other hand I know others who are real gentlemen. It's common sense if you load a vehicle and it's looks out of place, unsafe chances are you are going to pulled. I can imagine when someone with a dodgy load gets pulled and then they start with the attitude it's only going to end one way. Also if anyone does get a ticket for driving offences and you think it's unfair, contest it. Highly unlikely it will go to court unless the offence is nailed on.
