- Good evening from The Land's End sunset, Kernow.

Pleased to meet Onen hag Oll, One & All. We've been told by a few people to sign up to the forums in order to share some of the information about the issues which have lead to Ne coming under MPs' scrutiny amidst Parliamentary calls for legislative reform surrounding SSSIs, NNRs & related Conservation Designations.

It's been a mess, to say the least.

Given that 22 proposed SSSIs have been announced by Ne, excluding devolved counterparts in Alba/Cymru/Ulster, the ramifications of the proposed 30 for 30 conservation scheme of the UK Government is going to have wide-reaching impact in our community.

Almost certainly involving some trips to the High Court, seeing as how they've acted.

Hi, been reading forum for many years getting valuable info and advice, thought better introduce myself. (Old) new entrant, faming in the blood but no farm for me. Finally bought a wee bit of ground in my early 40's, make some hay, bit of contract work helping neighbours plus a day job. Done few bucket reared calves & pigs in the past. Bit of tired kit which I nurse along. Stuff scattered here there and everywhere...

Welcome aboard like they say in football, it’s always better to be playing on the pitch than being on the sideline . So now you can get involved, look forward to seeing some of your posts.

Posted in the off topic section as didn't see this thread.
Hi all,
Apologies if this is in the wrong section but I just wanted to do an introduction as I may not be able to contribute a great deal at the moment.
My name is Tom and I'm based in Essex, I'm not a farmer but a deer stalker on a few farms in Essex. I've got DSC1 and recently completed the Advanced Deer Management course which highlighted things I'd like to get closer to specifically the impact of deer on different agricultural land arable, woodland etc.
Thanks in advance for any information called out on here
