its scottish for alexander

Wouldn't think the Scots would girlify their men that way. Too bad you weren't James cause Seamus is much more intimidating... Sandy.

I'm Angie, that's Canadian for Angie. We're a much more straightforward nation :D I appear and disappear as the inclination takes me and know next to nothing helpful about machinery and only slightly more about cattle. However trying to decipher what everyone is talking about with races and crushes and such probably leads me to repeat something that's already been said in a foreign language. Still, it keeps me busy some days!

Hey! I'm kind of new!

There, I changed my avatar. Now you'll all have to read my name to know who I am. No photo recognition!

hello! (y)
I found this site by someone pm'ing me on fb after posing in an agric group, looking to start getting experience and gaining confidence in agric to live the life I wish... which has only really been on my mind to act now cause I got so sick in Morocco (like everyone else!!!) and decided after 3 years of working 6 months a year moving around the country, not having any stability it is about time I just do the farming career I have wanted to do for many years.. i won't bore you with any more details, my family are farmers, infact i have millions of second cousins I have never met on both sides of my family, so I need to investigate that!! (anyone from Wales with the surname Jones get in touch! jokes.. but anyone "Pritchard Jones".. do :)
Already this website has proved motivational and influential, thanks all :D

I work with a lovely young lad from Yorkshire over here on a work visa. At least I assume he's lovely, he can be hard to understand at times. He's enjoying it and learning lots and says the reason he came over here is there's actually work... That can always be a pro. My boss is also from Sussex.

May I suggest you also travel to Canada and join the legion of Brits here to learn agriculture? Unless you're interested in sheep.... not much of them around here.
