iPad iPhone iOS gps guidance system views

Been thinking about getting a budget GPS system for the tractor. Mostly for broadcast spreading on grassland. Had a look and lots of options that are pricy and probably way more than I need. I have an iPad and iPhone and was wondering if anyone has tried any apps for them and if they are any good. Seen one but no reviews online. It seems like a thing that they would work for as most Tech seems to be better on a phone these days.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has used them or opinions on the idea?

The best accuracy you'll get from a smartphone without external gps is around 5 metres. You need differential gps to do any better.

Very true, but for general fert type work, a Garmin Glo will get you to around 1-1.5 metre with a good signal. I mount mine on the cab roof with velcro, and bluetooth to a tablet. No idea on apps for the Apple ecosystem, I did know someone who gave up, and got a cheap android tablet to work with!
