IPAD Safari not working anymore with TFF

My old Safari no longer works with TFF. I can read the first line of a post then I get a long coloured bar right down the screen centre. If I tab down it takes ages until I get to the next bit of text. Wondered if others had similar?

sound like something is not good with your iPad ? do you get the same on any other sites ?

have you tried closing all open apps ? could be a memory issue

also try clearing your Cache in safari settings

I've just tried it on the ipod and the same thing is happening so something has changed outwith my devices or with the the website. Apple playing tricks to force me to buy a replacement? I admit they're very old OS models but hell, I don't like throwing things away!

nothing has changed on TFF for a few weeks now - my Ipad is working, tested with Chrome and safari

The app is not working, hasn't been for a while, VERY few use it so not sure if it's viable to fix it really ?

Can any other ipad users confirm if its ok for them in web browser or not please

There has been something going on with Safari Ipad for a while. Crashing and when you reopen it it has tabs from a month ago. When you reply to a thread, if you press enter to a new line you lose the auto capital first letter.
It also hasn’t been managing some images particularly well that are interactive such as in window zooming etc.
im also struggling to edit text especially in the TFF reply box, see the beginning of this sentence! I don’t have the zoom text edit feature come up if I hold a word I wish to edit.

I should add that the vertical bars appear when I click on a post and then between each post. It means that I have to tab down for ages until the post appears and then it flies by so fast that I have to tab up to catch it again. Think I'll steer clear of computer controlled aircraft and autonomous cars!

I have a Samsung tab and that reads TFF ok.
All my tabs are about 8 years old so probably time to dig deep and spend some hard earned. Shouldn't complain as I got the various tabs in freebies or raffles, just hate the thought of ditching just because of software updates that aren't backward compatible (not like old tractors).

Had this problem few months ago, just shut it down with the button by the camera. Then do a full on restart

I use the app, non existent 4g and limited 3g and the app works quicker when out in the field than going through the browser
