Does anyone use an IR Monocular?

I am relatively new to nigh shooting, and would like a few tips please..
I have just added the PARD NV700SP LRF to my rifle, yet Im finding it heavy to scan the fields! so I was considering a IR Monocular, and suggestions greatly appreciated

Go for a thermal monocular if you can afford one

Ha, I would, yet it would only be used a few times a year, and unlike a fair few shooters on here, my safe shooting backdrops are a max of about 150 yards, so it would be an over kill...

If you can see them further away you can call them in. I'm having the same dilemma as they are expensive.
If you're loosing a lamb a night it's soon the cheaper option.

Touching wood we haven't had a real problem with foxes until this year, last year we dispatched a few, yet they are everywhere here at the moment!... Im blaming incomers since covid buying small holdings and advertising their Glamping sites, come and feed the foxes and badger experience...

Ravens have always been our biggest threat, taking the eyes out of ewes in daylight whilst resting, lambs whilst birthing etc..............

I was looking at them at the gamefair. Some that I tried worked well in daylight. But the amount of choice and price prevented me from making a decision (nothing to do with being a tight git).
This tech gets better and cheaper each year, so I tend not to rush in on these things. My brothers has one, its very useful for watching the hare coursers at night when they think nobody can see them.
