Quite steady rain all through the night. Perfect timing for me really, planted out the first raised bed and my main-crop tatties over the last couple of days, have run out of places to put thing for now. Plants look really perky this morning

At last this morning we have some steady (very steady) rain and with some more hope in the forecast for the coming week

its all about how you feed/ trick the rain gods, its worked not a lot but at last an hour or two of steady rain and its not evaporating and the windows will need re glossing ,ho ho

Heavy shower sometime around 4am I think, might have been more but I was Driving through puddles was a novelty on road. Have lambs over a month old that had never felt rain.

All of a sudden the lack of rain no longer seems to be an issue, apart from the damage already done. A neighbour's spring barley looks aweful, organic and only sown in April.
