Depends who you ask, the above heifer was a cock up from her Dad in year 1 and she got on well with that calf, so no reason to not have another go.I had an old neighbour years ago who had 60/70 cattle that were all let loose with each other, all horns and balls with no tags :/ heifers would calve before a year old and more often than not fail to calve so would die during labour....
after seeing the state that herd/farm turned to because of the owners mental health issues I hope your not going the same way!
