What's people's thoughts on iso bus screens when trading machinery in ?

We've a machine that was supplied with a screen as we didn't have any at the time and the machine was and I think is still only available as iso bus in the UK so now it's trade in time the whinging has started that I want to keep the screen for the new replacement as it's gonna be easier to keep the same set-up as we've been using.
But I'm thinking that as it's an iso bus machine so it shouldn't matter to the used value as it's still a functional machine ?

Personally I’d get rid of the screen and get a new one with the new implement. If there are problems with the new machine talking to the old screen it will cost you.
Also the new screen will be under warranty.

Can’t imagine the cost to change would be much different?

No you're exactly right doesn't change the cost it's a different screen that's gonna be with the new one but the cost of these screens isn't cheap and can't do autosteer and we can't run two autosteer screens in the tractor it's going into so don't see the point in changing the screen as it's of no benefit compared to the current one
