Isobus joystick

A lot of the major tractor manufacturers now allow the buttons on their multi-function handle or armrest to be configured as an ISOBUS joystick. So it means the operator can assign certain buttons on the tractor multi-function handle or armrest to control functions on the ISOBUS implement.
Obviously the implement needs to support AUX-N too but most of the major players do.

New Holland T6 and T7 tractors with SideWinder armrest from model year 2018 and later allow the buttons/paddles shown below to be used for AUX-N.
It’s amazing CNH have finally caught up with Fendt in this respect, that had fully assignable ISO joystick buttons since around 2011.

Mind you JD have copied the concept as well but for Vario operation. I suppose zee German ergonomics engineers got something right :p
