Is anyone else suffering with itchy eyes at the moment? I’m guessing it’s hay fever related but I never normally suffer but they are so itchy and it’s affecting my vision!
Anyone found anything that helps? Optrex seems to make them worse

Suffered for years with itchy eyes. Try sunglasses which fit tight. Optrex with an eye bath is also good.

If open, go to your optician. You may have a dry eye problem which counter-intuitively can cause the eyes to itch and weep. A pharmacist recommended this when I had problems one year on holiday. https://www.boots.com/boots-hypromellose-eye-drops-10ml-10169330

Take a couple of used (but not well squeezed) tea bags and put them in the fridge for an hour or so. Place on closed eyes and leave for a bit.
While you are there, place a damp cold flannel over your mouth and nose and breath through your nose. I dont know why this helps the eyes, but it does.

I have visions of you looking like a panda on removal .brown eyes all round and white face .

Mine have started but I leak like seive with the heat and it drips of my eyelids ,then wipe my eyes and the salts sting like ????
I get this from work on a sweaty day and can end up looking like a myxy rabbit by 4pm with little blobs of yellow gloop from wiping the sweat out with a dirty hand. I'm bent over a fair bit and the sweat runs down from my cheeks, which are also probably dirty.

Best solution I'd found is Brolene drops (for the infection) asap and frequent application of Tesco Comfort Eye drops. Bathing them liberally with mildy warm salty water also helps first thing the next morning if the lids get stuck down over night.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
