Ivermectin , covid cure

Maybe best not try and kill your worms and bacteria.
Interesting bit in there about your intestines and the bacteria.

As used to control Bilharzia as I recall?
I heard a report on R4 about river blindness. Children would be given a six monthly dose of ivermectin which was enough to kill the worm which takes about one year to develop and migrate through the body to the eye. Every 6 months means there isn't time for the worm to complete its journey.

No feckin way would I ever use that stuff again, not on animals and for sure not on me.
Was horribly sick twice after using it.
Maybe you had an overdose? The usual people dose can cause side effects in about 1%, most commonly itchy skin, itchy eyes and nausea. It should be taken on an empty stomach an hour before eating and alcohol is forbidden so as not to stress the liver.

I had the flu jab yesterday, and as soon as I got home, my sister started telling me about all the terrible side effects she experienced in the days after hers. 36 hours later though, and nothing to report except a slightly tingling arm. :)
I once looked down the Trodax gun to see why it was blocked and ended up turning Japanese. Even a few days later, someone asked if I had had malaria.

2) Ivermectin inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication and binding to host tissue via several observed and proposed mechanisms (Caly et al., 2020b).

3) Ivermectin has potent anti-inflammatory properties with in-vitro data demonstrating profound inhibition of both cytokine production and transcription of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), the most potent mediator of inflammation (Zhang et al., 2008;Ci et al., 2009;Zhang et al., 2009).

4) Ivermectin significantly diminishes viral load and protects against organ damage in multiple animal models when infected with SARS-CoV-2 or similar coronaviruses (Arevalo et al., 2020;de Melo et al., 2020).

5) Ivermectin prevents transmission and development of COVID-19 disease in those exposed to infected patients (Behera et al., 2020;Bernigaud et al., 2020;Carvallo et al., 2020b;Elgazzar et al., 2020;Hellwig and Maia, 2020;Shouman, 2020).

6) Ivermectin hastens recovery and prevents deterioration in patients with mild to moderate disease treated early after symptoms (Carvallo et al., 2020a;Elgazzar et al., 2020;Gorial et al., 2020;Khan et al., 2020;Mahmud, 2020;Morgenstern et al., 2020;Robin et al., 2020).

7) Ivermectin hastens recovery and avoidance of ICU admission and death in hospitalized patients (Elgazzar et al., 2020; Hashim et al., 2020; Khan et al., 2020; Niaee et al., 2020; Portmann-Baracco et al., 2020; Rajter et al., 2020; Spoorthi V, 2020).

8) Ivermectin reduces mortality in critically ill patients with COVID-19 (Elgazzar et al., 2020;Hashim et al., 2020;Rajter et al., 2020).

9) Ivermectin leads to striking reductions in case-fatality rates in regions with widespread use (Chamie, 2020).5

10) The safety, availability, and cost of ivermectin is nearly unparalleled given its near nil drug interactions along with only mild and rare side effects observed in almost 40 years of use and billions of doses administered (Kircik et al., 2016).

11) The World Health Organization has long included ivermectin on its “List of Essential Medicines”.6

Where did you find this?

Do you think you are vulnerable, your immune system not good enough to do the job for you?
Not vulnerable but not fancying the idea of long covid much. Plus I don't want to have to take time off work to be ill. Plus I have a strong dislike of going into hospital and a firm belief in taking responsibility for my own well being.

I'm still considering whether to use it as a prophylactic as my exposure risk is probably quite low although I see different people every day, but I will absolutely be treating myself first sign of symptoms because it's a low-risk medication that I've inadvertently had before as an uncontrolled dose without side-effects.

If you ain’t broke, don’t fix, is my thinking. I reckon if you’re eating and drinking and sleeping properly, not stressed then you should be able to cope with it.

let us know how it goes if you do take it though...

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
