Ivermectin scab treatment

I have a group of 25 in lamb ewes in isolation that are showing signs of sheep scab which has been confirmed by a vet skin scrape. Ivermectin ordered as do not have facilities to dip/ less stressful as not long after tupping. I know that they should be moved to clean pasture for 17 days but is this after the first injection or the second a week later? Will the first injection cover them until the second on the existing field?
No grass on the clean field so wanting to minimise time on there if possible.

We had scab in a batch of ewes last year which infested all our rams then after pulling them all out. The ewes were jabbed twice dectomax (moved on first jab to next field) )and lambed outside in isolation as we was paranoid about spreading to everything else. The tups literally were in a field in middle of nowhere and we didn’t want to move them. We jabbed them and then electric fenced all perimeter 1m away from wall/fence and removed any feeders etc etc from field so they couldn’t rub on anything dirty and jabbed them twice too. They cleared up and all has been good since. Didn’t use that electric fence until a few weeks ago as I was paranoid about it!!!

Ivermectin works very well indeed, for as long as it works. Maybe it’s been too good, and too easy, as resistance to it in scab mites is (anecdotally) getting pretty widespread now. You only need one (maybe 2?) resistant mite to survive to keep the infection going.
If it still works for you the great, but it won’t be long before jabbing isn’t an option anyway.:(
