Thinking of one of those adjustable ones for mi ranger, trailer sits to high even in the lowest holes. Does it rattle alot.
They do rattle a bit. The later types with two horizontal pins are better though. In our case though it caused excessive strain on the towbar as it wasn't pulling straight, hence the broken towbar above. If you don't need it to be adjustable you could just buy or make a drop plate out of half inch plate which won't rattle at all.

Depending what make and model of cattle trailer you have, if the coupling is mounted on top of the A frame, we can remount it inside the A frame giving you a lower hitch height on your trailer

I thought the ball hitch was supposed to be a set height on all these motors?
Lots of Isuzu's (by far more of these on the roads then anything else) towing and iv not heard of any issues.

I thought the hitch looked low on both the Isuzu and Ranger when I was looking at them in August... but measured compared to our Defender, both were set at the same height.

Hi just a quick one, recently bought a 58reg Izuzu Rodeo double cab pickup and it seems very low on the back springs and when we have cattle trailer on the back axle on the trailer is lifted off the ground. Springs are in tact, was wondering if anyone knew if you can upgrade the springs to make it sit higher in the first place? Thanks

We've got a 61 plate it's exactly as you say. When it was new we asked the dealer to have a look as it felt really soft and wallowing compared to the 07 hilux. I still don't think it's right now!

Right, they don't feel like they've anything wrong when you drive it with a trailer on. It's a lot less bumpy than our old l200. I'll have a look cheers
