They do rattle a bit. The later types with two horizontal pins are better though. In our case though it caused excessive strain on the towbar as it wasn't pulling straight, hence the broken towbar above. If you don't need it to be adjustable you could just buy or make a drop plate out of half inch plate which won't rattle at all.Thinking of one of those adjustable ones for mi ranger, trailer sits to high even in the lowest holes. Does it rattle alot.

That is true.Problem is the bottom one with its manufacturers plate would have been passed as suitable, the top one would fail an inspection even though its far superior

Hi just a quick one, recently bought a 58reg Izuzu Rodeo double cab pickup and it seems very low on the back springs and when we have cattle trailer on the back axle on the trailer is lifted off the ground. Springs are in tact, was wondering if anyone knew if you can upgrade the springs to make it sit higher in the first place? Thanks
