Jcb 2CX Brakes

Does anyone know whats wrong with a 2cx when the brakes are either on full or off full, no inbetween. When you press the pedal nothing happens for a moment and then they engage fully, almost throwing you through the front window. I changed the two accumulators in front of the back axle thinking that was the issue but there is no difference. Any ideas?

have they recently got worse?
ours are a bit like this and have been since we had the machine (er abour 20 years ago)
I often woundered if something wrong or if they are just poorly modulated.

That's interesting bloders. Idk, I know roughly how the system works but not enough to diagnose. It's actually my cousins loader so I'm not driving it everyday but as far as I know it got bad relatively suddenly and it's at a stage now where is dangerous and impractical
