Jcb 310s brake failure

My 12 plate jcb 310s has had a complete brakes failure. Light on dash is on. It has flash a few times during the 12 months I've owned it. Hydraulic were funny including steering for 20 secs after brake failure. Pedal is firm just nothing happens. Any idea where to look.is it hard to fix or better to phone jcb

sorry can't help directly but i think there's a gear driven pump under the diesel filter mounted on the bellhousing that operates the brakes
i didn't think the brakes and steering were on the same system
to me sounds like the pump has stopped but i stand to be corrected if i'm wrong

On the Manitou MLA there is a separate brake charge pump mounted on the transmission (for the brakes- funnily) and they are known for the drive shaft splines to break up- result suddenly ZERO brakes- the accumulator only gives about 3 application. Bloody dangerous if you ask me. JCB may be similar.

I had the accumulater changes on mine 2 year ago as had no brakes once engine was switched off.i now got about 9 to 10 applications

Is this the pump. Does it only do the brakes

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
