JCB 444 Engine - Is the block the same?

I am looking to replace a 444 that had a rod go through the block.
There are a number of variants of the 444 but all show the same bore, stroke and displacement

Are the differences (outside of programming and accessories) between the units that have a slightly different compression ratio, the head or the cup on the piston?

Thank you in advance

What is the serial Number of the machine?
The engine is a TCA-74 74KW

The engines I have been able to find within reason so far, are:
TA4-55 R1 (Appears to be common rail but similar compression ratio)

and
TC-63 which has the a mech pump and same compression ratio

I would suggest you find out reason why conrod has become visible as you don’t want it to happen again
Did it fail in recent hot weather which suggests problems with cooling system
Maybe blocked radiator core…. Inner and outer
If I was in same position I would have to see second hand engine running beforehand

Chap I work for replaced a loadall engine with a brand new engine.

Despite ordering from the machine serial number the new engine had a different bell housing, timing case and other small bits.

Everything swapped over ok though.

I’d buy a new block off Timik or such,2nd hand engines are bought and sold by a right load of crooks in my experience.

I really appreciate all the help.

Does anyone know if the CRD head is the same as the standard head? or are the injector holes/mounts completely different
