Rear steering sensor wires get trapped under the engine mount along with all the hydraulic hoses that run past mount and I think main loom?

Sod to do if its rubbed all pipes! Got to remove mount bracket. Replace pipes repair wiring. Clean burs off bracket and refit with new rubber mounts.

Might be something else though just guess work with out being there to investigate.

check that none of the pins have been pushed back on the big plug at the front of cab the sensor should light up i have bought aftermarket ones and they light up there is also ether a sealed box or relays depending on age of machine which controls steering one of ours lost rear steering and rear wheels was stuck at angle the box is located under the cover near the front window inside the cab good luck

Finally got back to the Loadall:
New pattern sensor fitted to rear. No light. Swooped to front and lights up.
So wiring fault! Trace wiring back not trapped along the loom....
Back to the multi plug at front of cab ..... any idea of wire number/ code in plug . ?

Check the loom were it goes behind the engine mount with all the hyd hoses they like to rub there.

No idea what number it is sorry.

on my 525 58 I occasionally have to wobble the big multiplug
I've pulled it pushed it ! Cleaned all I can SEE. Now thinking that the green verdegree is inside the connections. Refuse to re terminate that lot !
Very close to running new cable from sensor straight to ecm. If I knew the cable id

Just a thought, have you taken the panel off at the front (outside ) of the cab, rat got in there and chewed a wire or 3 and gave me a similar issue.

We have had "issues " with that plug . No obvious damage tho verdegree was in the pins and sockets cleaned up best as possible. Pin heights visually checked all good .
As ac said back underneath to triple check wiring at hydraulic hoses " interface "

you can manually press in the 4 control valves for the steering have had to do that once or twice to get it all back to where it should be need someone on the steering wheel while you press the end in on the valve a bit of trial and error and you'll get them back straight again

Hello did this ever get sorted? I've a mate with one and axle position sensors light up when flashed with a pocket knife, all plugs checked and seem fine, steering control modual changed for a known good one and still no steering on front axle, rear will steer but only after flashing front axle sensor and every time you stop it you have to flash front sensor to get rear axle to steer.3 position switch changes through modes on dash too.Any help greatly appreciated !
