Got electrical trouble! Feeding last night she just stopped, would crank but not fire, couldn’t here stop solenoid clicking when operating so ran a live to this and away she went. Fed round all fine except I have no charging and no head lights when stopped I have no alternator light and the oil light glows dimly, stop Solomon’s supply has 12v when tested but won’t click open solenoid. Only 12.3v at battery when running, tested small wire on alternator and only have 1.5v ,lamp is good in dash, any help much appreciated, cheers @ACEngineering

You've lost power supply to cab by sounds of it. Could be plug in the cab or more likely the ones in front of cab?

Check the power feed wires off the starter motor theres several one might have broken off.

Cheers for all the help, have cleaned every multi plug I could find, found a green crimp connector in the battery that looked iffy so changed that but still no different, got to feed now so will have to look more closely in a bit! Bloody electrics!

Checked everything all plugs earths and connections, had all relays and fuses out, have had a poke about with the multi meter and can’t find anything amiss, but have no battery warning light, oil pressure light or headlights, runs and works fine if a put a supply to stop solenoid, have also changed key switch, anyone have a wiring diagram? 1994 year farm special , cheers

Should be about 14 volts yes, that’s one of the problems, it’s not charging, I can’t get the alternator light to come on when I switch ignition on, and at the alternator small wire I only have 1.5v

I'm having the same problem with my 525-67 at the moment, did you get to the bottom of the issue by any chance? Thanks.

Yes I eventually found some wires at the front underside of the cab that had rubbed through and melted together, small metal panel under the windscreen had to come off to find then, that’s about all I can remember now though.
