JCB Loadall 535.95 Fault codes/ Starting Problem.

Hello,
We are having starting issues now and again, JCB delaer cant find the problem and the machine has been fine for months, but this morning it wont start and has 3 fault codes U1501-88, U1504-88, B1054-87, they seem to relate to CAN faults ?
Any guidance please or help on what to check would be appreciated.
Its a 535.95 on a 63 plate.

Check the power distribution block at the battery and make sure everything there is spotlessly clean and connections tight - take them off one at time and check the mating surfaces.

How’s the front cab mount?

on 531 we were getting all manner of spurious codes and strange symptoms, the front cab mount had gone and a wiring loom had rubbed.

just a thought

Keen to know how you get on as I'm having similar problems with a 13 plate same model

@RJK , current issues aside, what do you think of your 535-95?

I'm at the point of replacing my loader, the current candidates are either a new 532-60 (but factory shut) or a 2018 1200 hour 535-95 AgriPro for about 5k less. Just a bit concerned that the 535 might be a bit heavy and numb around the yard.

Hi
We are building contractors and use the 535-95 around the yard which is ideal, but have 3 other machines out on sites, if you can have a new one for an extra £5k, I would go with the new one if you can afford it as you will have the 3 year warranty and you will save the £5k easily in repairs, our machines have had thousands spent under warranty so well worth it if its going to be a work horse, and if they breakdown they provide you with a loan machine.
Hope that helps
