Is it powershift? you will get in a muddle looking at solenoids with out knowing the right sequence to energise to get what gear. The old JCB powershifts have relays which can be trouble some later machines have an ECU under the seat.

If you cant get anywere with a quick check on electrics take the transmission oil filter off and run it for a split second and see if oil is being pumped? might be the converter drive to pump has failed. I assume the hydraulics work? because if they don't work either then you need to look at the damper coupling in the engine bell housing.

Edit forgot you said about handbrake light earlier:rolleyes: you will need to bypass the handbrake switch not disconnect it. you could also look at the joystick and manual gearstick dump buttons/wiring if its a manual?

Well I don't know what I did but it's going again is tried swapping relays round blowing of fuse box etc, looked under at solenoids etc so while air line was there have all the dust and crap a blow off them and next thing it was working again. Used it all afternoon no problems. Bit worrying I don't know the cause but I'll just have to see how it goes. Cheers
