I assume you mean the load control shaft (through the bottom of the transmission case)??
Drain the oil, remove the arms, pull the shaft to one side, replace the exposed seal, repeat on the other side..
Check for wear / pitting on the shaft. A new shaft and bushes is sometimes a better solution

You'll have the to remove the stabiliser chain brackets from the axle to replace the shaft. There's an art to the removing the bushes...
Some 3/4 round bar and a screwdriver was my technique of choice,,,,,,, with a short handle sledge hammer 🔨

No, it sits over the cross shaft and is held in place by a pin, which in turn is secured with a spring clip- same each side. Slide the shaft across just enough and you will see the seal. Hoik it out with an O ring hook or similar, pop the new one in and repeat on the other side.
