Hmm. No haven’t listened for that, the pump underneath the filters is workingCan you hear the pump in the tank working?
It’s a premiumIf it’s an se? You’ll need to put the f/r leaver into drive then turn the key to the start position to energise the lift pump.
Left key on for about 10 mins and still hadn’t filled them. With bleeds openSorry did not read thread properly, if the pump under filters is working should fill filters in about a minute. No pump in tank?
As @jd6820 says, if it a common rail (2 filters) the bleed screw needs to be tight for the pump to prime. You should be able to hear the pump running with the ignition on, probably not from the cab though. It’s a premium
That famous O-Ring...made the silly mistake once of replacing it with the one that comes with the filter thinking I was doing a great job!! That was until 2 hours later wondering why the warning light was coming on beside the steering column. After much review of the wiring to the moisture sensor and the filter insertion into the housings to find that my replacement of that O-ring on the glass bowl filter was the culprit. Learnt a lot about the fuel system that day!As @jd6820 says, if it a common rail (2 filters) the bleed screw needs to be tight for the pump to prime. You should be able to hear the pump running with the ignition on, probably not from the cab though.
Also make sure you haven’t lost the O-ring off the glass bowl.
The O ring that comes with the filters in the box is for the drain screws on the bottom of each not for the seal between the glass bowl and filter as it is a different size. Why not replace it if you have new O ring ?
