The mechanic that serviced the 526 has left about 15 litres of jcb gear oil hp plus and the jd 6220 se has an axle to service I have looked the jcb website and it's a higher spec than jdm j 20c so should be fine just need a second opinion

keep it for changing JCB next time its dam expensive oil! (by the way you only need to use it in the front axle only as that's were the brakes are, the hubs and the rear axle are just fine with ep80-90 GL5 which is half the price)
15 litres will be enough to change the front axle oil next time round.

I would think LS90 limited slip 90 oil would be best in the front axle on Deere that or Morris JDF?

Ok will grab some next time I'm at stealers just wonderd I hate looking at half empty tubs when they could be put to use

I think that JCB HP plus is over £4 per litre in 20 litre cans. Way to expensive to use it were its not really needed!
Change yor JCB front axle oil every 500 hours to 1000hours max depending on road work. The more roading you do change it more often.

Ah PLEASE NOTE I forgot early 526 machines had brakes in hubs not in the axle casing so in that case HP plus oil in Hubs and front axle if limited slip diff in there, EP80-90 in rear axle.
