Guttler weightsView attachment 4984
How do you get a pic to load on here
Rear axle mods
The ram adjusts the track width there is not much weight on the wheels when in work .
Hi , the wheels go out to about 4 meter centres ,these 6m drills are very unstable on standard wheels . The fert delivery is by a flexible auger driven by the RDS Artimis motor which varies the speed, so it meters the fert and moves it along the tube and drops it in the venturi , I am going to fit a bigger auger this season to allow it to turn a bit slower .the weight tubes will take up to three weights and that would add an extra 15 kg but we find we don't need that much ,usually one weight and full spring pressure is fineI'm impressed!
What width do you get out to on your wheels? would be a good idea for me on the hill work we do.
Do you use a screw type delivery to move the fert forward?
Last question, how much extra weight does that give to the gutler closing wheel?
When we drill rape seed in wide rows we can place fert in the slot and on top in a band above the row , when were using all the coulters on wheat, oats etc all the fert goes in the slots with the seedWhat fert are you using ?
Does it just place on the surface after the gutler or is there some mixing / placement near the seed ?
