What fert are you using ?

Does it just place on the surface after the gutler or is there some mixing / placement near the seed ?

I'm impressed!
What width do you get out to on your wheels? would be a good idea for me on the hill work we do.
Do you use a screw type delivery to move the fert forward?

Last question, how much extra weight does that give to the gutler closing wheel?

Hi , the wheels go out to about 4 meter centres ,these 6m drills are very unstable on standard wheels . The fert delivery is by a flexible auger driven by the RDS Artimis motor which varies the speed, so it meters the fert and moves it along the tube and drops it in the venturi , I am going to fit a bigger auger this season to allow it to turn a bit slower .the weight tubes will take up to three weights and that would add an extra 15 kg but we find we don't need that much ,usually one weight and full spring pressure is fine
