John Deere 2140

Hi I have a John Deere 2140 everything working well with the exception of the lift arms not dropping fully of late

their appears to nothing physical stopping this and the lift is working perfectly

any help appreciated

any help appreciated

lift arms on my 3050 stopped dropping all the way down a few years ago, no known reason for it. I adjusted them via a screw under a plug if memory serves, pretty sure it was explained in the manual how to do it.

Thanks don’t have the manual for her but will check to see if I can get one has to something simple thanks

there is a screw type plug under the seat wonder if it has any bearing on it

Has the draft control been adjusted? If the control knob is moved a long way forward/down then it limits how far the links drop.

I never understood why or how that happened but it did happen on at least one that I drove.
