John Deere 2140

This might sound like a daft question and I probably know the answer!

My 2140 has been away to have the pump sorted in the back end. Since it came back when it is in low power syncron and you dip the clutch the tractor comes to a halt as if you've applied the brakes, a bit like a Massey 698 multi power I used to drive. I've driven 40 series John Deere tractors off and on since they were new and I can't remember them doing this.

Could anyone please clarify this for me.

Arrrrrgh, that's even worse. The Hi-Lo unit has been put back in with incorrect timing.
In Hi, the drive is straight through the Hi-Lo, in Lo it uses the planetary gears..
