John Deere 3130

Looking at buying a John Deere 3130 4wd. What are your opinions on these? Is it worth a look? I will be buying it to restor.

Had one back in the day.
Great tractors, hfwd is better than 2wd, when it works.
Got workshop manual for the HFWD

I can’t help but notice you saying “when it works”
Is the hydraulic 4wd troublesome?

It was mainly wiring that gave trouble.
You've 3 or 4 solenoids on the front axle, some gear position switches round the gearsticks and an ecu.
So a few opportunities for problems

is there anything else to look out for when buying one. I think it’s a non runner so I won’t be able to hear it run but hopefully be able to turn the engine at the end of the crankshaft
