Hi guys, recently I lost all oil going to the brakes and steering due to a pipe busting coming from the hydraulic pump on a John Deere 3350, I have fixed this pipe and was wondering if I fill it back up with back end oil will I need to bleed the brakes? If so how do I bleed them?
thanks

Now Then..
The brake reservoir is kept topped up by the return oil from the steering valve. You shouldn't really loose the brakes.
However, get 3" of 1/4 clear hose, fit it to the rear LH bleed nipple with the other end in the transmission filler cap hole. Have an assistant gently turn the steering lock to lock while pumping the LH brake pedal until solid. Open the bleed nipple and allow the oil back to the transmission. You'll see any air. Once there's no air bubbles, do the RH side and the trailer brake valve. Keep gently rotating the steering wheel to maintain oil supply to the brake valve..
