John Deere 5125R

How do I push out the hitch on this tractor? Got it out on hire, assumed it would be the usual John Deere approach but it isn’t. Can’t see a separate switch or anything.

Are you sure it is a push out hitch as not all 5 series were.

I’m wondering this, I thought as it was an R something like that might have been standard

If you drop it down can you see a small ram that pushes it out?

Now Then.
Most 5125R tractors didn't have the push out hitch. We converted a few to do it.
If you look at each side of the hook, there's a 24mm bolt head of an M16 bolt, thus indicating there's no push out. Another ded giveaway is that there's no hoses plugged into it rear SCV couplers...
There's a mirror kit available which fits on the rear window to aid visibility.. I found it better than the push out..

I would of thought JD high end brand would have a push out hitch as standard, if not why not?
