Alright maybe I misunderstood. I didn't really get any clear answer to be honest.
Can the pumps be easily removed without tipping the cab or is tipping a must? I don't have the storage deep behind the seat so that helps.
I dropped the oil three times now and every time I was greeted by a bit of brakelining. Must be at least 5 years ago they where replaced.
Fun times.

Is it not time u replaced brakes with these bits of brake laying at the pumpHere's hoping for good new. There was a nothing to bad looking at the chargepump, some wearmarks but hey. Called in a JD mechanic to have a look and he said the wearmarks on the chargepump where nothing serious but the amount of crap (brakelining) around the suction screen may well account for bubbly oil in the filter and therefore the gurgling, just to little clean area left on the screen to draw oil. It does seem somewhat logical to me, upon emptying the backend all the crap landed near the suction screen. A sudden chargepump failure seems odd.
I did end up tipping the cab for better acces. To bad I forgot decoupling the clutch cable...
