hi there, I’m new to this forum stuff so hope this makes sense and it in the right area of forums! But anyway got a 6910 and well like the title says got a problem with it shifting down the powrquad gears! It’s a electric shift version with the stepper motor on the side of the box, when I first had the tractor you had to make sure the powrquad was in either 3 or 4 and it would work fine all day everyday, but if it was started in 1 or 2 then it would go up through the powrquad gears fine but it wouldn’t come down very good, would either take a long time to change down or more popular it would throw up a code and cut out the powrquad gears all together and you’d have to shut off and restart to gain powrquad gears back, did find the fault codes a while ago and from what I can remember the code was something about stepper motor position, i think! Anyway carried on using it just making sure it was in either 3 or 4 when started, then managed to acquire a good second hand stepper motor, fitted it and to start with thought my problem had been fixed but unfortunately not quite, will change up gears fine but a fair delay in coming back down and if you press the tortoise again it will drop down maybe one gear or sometimes two gears, tried starting it in 3 or 4 and doesn’t seem to let me now, always defaults to number 2 powrquad or if you leave it in 1 or 2 powrquad it stays in either, doesn’t cut out the powrquad now tho so maybe a little bit of progress but also doesn’t flash up any codes either just slow in changing down gears! Hoping someones had same or similar problems that could help me fix it for good.

Now Then..
I wouldn't expect it to automatically flash codes to the screen. Have you looked in the controller to see if there are any codes??
There probably aren't too many tractors with the stepper motor on,,, have you spoken to your local dealer about it??

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
