John Deere....ball and spoon

Hello.
We are looking for the tractor part of a ball and spoon hitch to fit a John Deere 6930 to allow coupling to a newly acquired Krone 890 Square baler which is thus equipped.
Has anybody one for sale or would know where to look?
Any help / pointers would be very gratefully received as this hitch system is a new one on us.

If I've read my JD stuff correctly, you'll not be able to have the PUH with 'ball & spoon' at the same time... Better call yr JD dealer,,,,, or Krone dealer, eh..

Have about £600 ready as well
Yes not exactly cheap unfortunately. They are very good hitches though, much better than a hook, there is no slop in them at all. Scharmueller's K80 was/is the original ball and spoon, and they do command a premium price. I've been told there's also a knock-off French made brand that is cheaper, but I can't recall the name right now.

I'd try Steve at JH Milnes, if they got a suitable K80 insert on the shelf it could end up being less than if they have to order one specially in.

It would be interesting to know how much JD charge for a suitable green painted ball and spoon insert.

In a classic case of one hand not knowing what the other is upto.....Mark has beaten me to it and has come up trumps. One pickup hitch ball unit is on its way. Thank you all for your help....I have gone from knowing nothing about ball and spoon, to knowing a little:)

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
