got a john deere 324 mower that wont increase the hydraulic pressure for the bed and break away on the gauge any more than 50 bar when it should be about 110 bar

Thinking the accumulator has packed up? as this would be the only part i cant check? No leaks anywhere and tractor is ok

Anything I’m missing?

Is there some kind of screw valve on the top/side of the actuator? In our Kuhn plough, you need to open the screw for a few rounds, which then lets you increase the pressure. Then screw it shut and remove the hydraulic hose.

Yes you open an valve to pressurise it but i can not get it above 50 bar, thinking the accumulator is knackered?

I have had to replace a quick release coupling on the pipe but it doesn’t seem like and air lock?

The tractor should have no problem putting over 200 bar in the system. My guess is that the pressure guage has been overloaded and is not reading as high as it should.Try another guage first but it is possible that a faulty accumulator caused the shock load that knackered the guage.
