Can anyone recommend me a set of decent jump leads which will cope with jump starting a 6 cyl tractor etc? They want to be 8m long ideally. Thanks
Worst thing with them is the crimp between cable and clamp, that is generally quire shyteMost of the ones you buy, supposedly heavy duty ? The cables appear thick ,but most often they have very little copper in them. You'll have to find seriously heavy duty welding cables.. 200 to 300,amp is not enough.. and heavy duty brass clamps, not some pressed tin ones.
Or buy the lithium battery starter pack that keeps popping up on amazon.

I did wonder about a jump pack, but I would need to remember to charge it up
Get a Noco - doesn't need chargingThanks for the replies.
I think that I'll make my own set from welding cable or similar.
